This system is modular comprising of 5 key placings per row, each row interlocks into another. A row can be separated by a spacer interlocking between each row. The rows making up the system are contained within a brushed aluminium frame.  The frame can be fitted to a wall or any other solid surface or be secured within a pupose made security cabinet.

The white or coloured pegs that form part of the permanent element of the system are called retaining or retention pegs as they form the security in that they have a slot through which a security seal (metal hasp and plastic fob) is threaded, in the open position the seal is also threaded through a hole or slot that is present in most keys. Those that do not have slots or holes, such as smart keys are provided for by a purpose made wallet.  The seal is closed up by pushing the wire hasp into the body of the plastic fob and can only taken from the peg by a supplied wire cutter.

Releasing the key is through the insertion of a release peg which is coloured, choice of 12 colours and can be either numbered or have etched initials corresponding to the individual who is authorised to use the tracker board.

The release peg remains in the tracker board until such time that the key or keys are returned, thus giving management a clear indication as to the identity of the person who has the key or keys. Never hunt again for a missing key!
